Self-adhesive labels

We provide an exhaustive range of label materials and adhesives but our most popular types of self-adhesive label are direct thermal paper labels, semi gloss paper labels and our range of security or asset labels.

All our self-adhesive labels come in a variety of sizes and colours to suit a wide range of applications.

Direct thermal labels use the heat from the printer’s printhead to create a chemical reaction in the coating on the paper to turn it black. This is ideal for text, logos or black and white images for short life labelling applications such as box end labelling and shipping labels.

Semi gloss labels can be printed on using a thermal transfer ribbon giving high contrast definition and providing fine detail for more intricate uses.

Security labels come in two different styles, the first which is tamper proof or destructible, which break apart if any attempt is made to remove it. The second is tamper evident, meaning it shows the word VOID when the label is removed giving you evidence that the label has been removed or tampered with.

Asset labels are a type of security label created as a method of identification, including a serial number or barcode, which can be used for keeping track of objects or equipment. This is especially useful in companys which keep large amounts of stock or business assets which need to be distinguished from each other.

All these self-adhesive labels use a variety of different glues to make them fit for purpose, and are coated with an acrylic, rubber, hotmelt or water-based adhesive, depending on their usage.
